Job Title: Project Manager (Technology)
Job Purpose:
End-to-end accountability for the delivery of one or more technology-related projects, ensuring successful outcomes in terms of scope, time, cost, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Initiation:
- Define and agree project scope, stakeholders, and communication plans
- Support investment cases with estimates and risk analysis
- Mobilise project teams and governance structures
Project Delivery:
- Lead cross-functional teams and manage supplier contributions
- Maintain schedule, financial controls, and change management
- Ensure compliance with data, cyber security, and governance standards
- Drive stakeholder engagement and business change activities
Project Closure:
- Execute transition plans to BAU
- Ensure controlled closure with acceptance and review artefacts
Key Dimensions:
- Project budgets up to £2m
- Leadership of up to 20 matrix reports plus supplier resources
Key Competencies:
- Proven experience in delivering change projects
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- Commercial acumen and financial control
- Resilience, problem-solving, and customer-centric mindset
- Technical understanding to support issue resolution
