About The Role
As a Project Manager at Wavenet, you will be at the heart of our operations, responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects that align with our strategic goals. You’ll ensure each project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining our high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation through to closure
- Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Proactively identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Allocate and coordinate resources across multiple, simultaneous projects
- Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, internal teams, and clients
- Monitor and report on project progress, adjusting plans as needed
- Conduct regular project updates and status meetings with senior management
- Ensure all deliverables meet client expectations and company quality standards
- Foster a culture of collaboration, mentoring project team members as needed
- Apply and champion project management best practices and methodologies
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager who brings both strategic insight and hands-on experience to the table. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications and attributes:
- Education & Experience A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is required. You’ll also need a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing complex projects, with a strong track record of delivering results on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Project Management Expertise Solid understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall, along with hands-on experience using project management tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, or Trello. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred and highly regarded.
- Leadership & Communication Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration and accountability throughout the project lifecycle. You’ll need exceptional communication and presentation skills to manage stakeholder expectations and keep everyone aligned and informed.
- Organizational Skills & Multitasking Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment without sacrificing attention to detail. You should be highly organized and comfortable managing project schedules, resources, and deliverables concurrently.
- Problem Solving & Decision Making A proactive and solutions-focused mindset is essential. You’ll need to anticipate challenges, mitigate risks effectively, and make well-informed decisions quickly to keep projects on track.
- Financial & Risk Management Strong budgeting and financial management skills, coupled with a solid grasp of risk assessment and mitigation strategies, will enable you to maintain control over project resources and outcomes.
- Industry Awareness Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and best practices will help ensure projects meet all compliance requirements and align with client expectations.
