Purpose of Position

There is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager/Business Analyst to join Pantheon’s Transformation Office. The Transformation Office partners across the organization to define the strategic transformation vision and roadmap, drive implementation of initiatives (including engagement & partnership with key stakeholders) and consistently delivers high-quality execution of change.

This Project Manager/Business Analyst will lead transformation initiatives end-to-end including defining the strategy and scope, owning the detailed planning and leading the design, implementation and transition to BAU. To enable success, collaborating globally across functions (including Investment Teams, Client Services, Legal, Finance, Technology and Operations), effectively communicating and partnering with third parties will be a key component of this role.

This Project Manager/Business Analyst will partner within other Transformation Office Project & Programme Managers to leverage lessons learned, manage interdependencies and ensure thoughtful coordination across the transformation roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Manager/Business is expected to assume the following key responsibilities plus any other reasonable duties as required:

• Development and maintain robust project plans, associated artefacts & KPIs in order to effectively deliver to plan
• Lead respective project governance forums (e.g. working groups, workshops, planning sessions) to facilitate effective decisioning, escalation and engagement of key stakeholders
• Diligently manage project budgets
• Work in partnership across the organization to develop business cases and facilitate prioritization of initiatives
• Run workshops to gather business data reporting and analytical requirements and convert them into clear specific requirements documents, collaborating with technology and business team partners to drive consensus
• Build source data maps for database & file data sources and contribute to the establishment of a source data dictionary and entity relationship diagrams representing Pantheon data platform
• Contribute to the establishment of data rules for cleanliness confirmation and transformation
• Elicit and document end-to-end AS IS/TO BE business process flows, data flows and requirements at the appropriate level of detail
• Effectively manage the deployment of new systems/applications/tools/products/processes through comprehensive communications & training with all impacted stakeholders
  
  

Knowledge & Experience Required

Functional

• Experience (min. 5 years) in leading transformation initiatives in financial services
• Robust and accurate project plans & reporting to ensure transparency on projects’ critical paths, key risks, issues and dependencies
• Experience in large data conversion projects focused on reporting and analysis tools such as Power BI and ETL platforms such as Azure Data Bricks, Informatica, SSIS, including strong knowledge of and experience of data analysis using SQL, Excel and Visual Basic.
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
• Demonstrable track record delivering high quality data analysis by distilling large and varied data sources to support conversion and integration of data between systems.
• Track record in effectively engaging and partnering across the organization
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbally), including the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise presentations to enable decisioning
• A team player who is comfortable interacting with staff at all levels, including senior management
• Thrives in a dynamic, fast paced environment and can nimbly adapt to new and changing priorities
  
  

Stakeholder Management

• Lucid and structured communication tailored to the audience
• Experience in independently running workshops with both business as well as technical stakeholders to elicit business processes and requirements, review analysis and validate documented projects artefacts
• Ability to develop and execute stakeholder engagement strategies, build strong rapport, constructively challenge stakeholder assumptions and mediate between conflicting requirements ensuring consensus
• Ability to communicate complex solutions to stakeholders, both technical as well as non-technical in a clear and succinct manner
• Ability to communicate rationale behind business processes and bring business teams/stakeholders and senior partners to align and concur
• Exposure to working with external third-party vendors and partners
