We are working alongside a Tier 1 civil engineering contractor to recruit a Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of extensive groundworks and infrastructure installation.

This is a critical project requiring strong leadership, commercial awareness, and a hands-on approach to construction management.

Responsibilities will include:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the works to meet programme, quality, and budget requirements.
• Coordinate on-site resources including labour, materials, and subcontractors to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Drive compliance with CDM Regulations and all relevant health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships, report progress, and resolve issues effectively.
• Maintain and update project programmes, risk registers, and performance KPIs.
• Ensure all required documentation (RAMS, inspections, permits) is in place and correctly maintained.

Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Project Management role within civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• HND/NVQ Level 7 or equivalent in a relevant construction discipline.
• SMSTS or NEBOSH Construction Certification and a valid CSCS Managers Card.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality systems and controls.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage site teams and liaise with clients.
• Experience with NEC contracts and programme management software (MS Project or Primavera) is highly desirable.
• Experience with reinforced concrete structures and large drainage connector pipes would be great but not essential
