Are you passionate about driving innovation and leading transformative projects? Digital Catapult is seeking a Project Manager to join our Delivery Team on a 18-month Fixed Term Contract. In this role, you will be responsible for the project management and delivery of the Business Systems Transformation Programme, in which we are replacing our existing Finance, Programme / Project / Resource Management and HR systems with Microsoft Dynamics. If you have a proven track record in leading the delivery of a company-wide transformation programme on budget, on time and to the highest standards of quality, we want to hear from you!
WHAT YOU'LL DO (Duties)
- Design, lead, plan and manage the delivery of activities of the Business Systems Transformation Programme on budget, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.
- Monitor project performance, proactively manage risks and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Along with the relevant internal stakeholders, plan and develop coherent project strategy, structure (workstreams and tasks), and resourcing plans. Define realistic goals, milestones and targets that will lead to the required outcomes and impact.
- Manage suppliers and 3rd party vendors ensuring contracted deliverables are on time, budget and of expected quality.
- Guide and support the process of change management during the implementation.
- Manage the development of test strategies and plans. Coordinating the test phases of Microsoft Dynamics projects including unit, system, integration and user acceptance testing.
Requirements
- A track record of successfully leading and delivering Microsoft Dynamics from initiation to closure, covering HR, Finance and Project Operations functionality. Experience of managing agile and / or waterfall projects including methodologies such as Prince2, Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience of working with vendors, partners and consultants to implement Microsoft Dynamics systems.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills at senior levels along with clear and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- A structured and detailed approach to planning and delivery.
- Ability to deliver accurate reporting including to senior leadership teams.
- Demonstrable proactive management of risks, issues and dependencies.
- Thorough knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project, SmartSheet, JIRA, Trello and Confluence. A formal PM qualification, e.g. PRINCE2 Practitioner or Certified Scrum Master is desirable along with working knowledge of collaborative working tools such as Salesforce / Miro.
