About the Role:
Join the Sizewell C project — one of the UK’s most ambitious nuclear megaprojects. We're seeking an experienced Rail Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of critical rail infrastructure under the Off-Site Infrastructure (OSI) scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery of major rail packages: upgrades, temporary railheads, and connections to site.
- Develop and manage schedules using Primavera P6.
- Oversee project controls, including risk, cost, and change management.
- Ensure alignment with SZC programme milestones and stakeholder expectations.
- Interface with contractors (e.g., Network Rail) and stakeholders to manage integration and dependencies.
- Produce reports and conduct programme analysis (e.g., Clause 31/32, EVM, “what-if” scenarios).
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in rail project planning and delivery, ideally in regulated or nuclear environments.
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts, GRIP process, and linear scheduling.
- Skilled in Primavera P6, risk management, cost control, and stakeholder engagement.
- Relevant degree + chartered status preferred.
- PTS & CSCS certified.
- Familiarity with CDM regs, BIM tools, CEMAR, and collaborative digital platforms.
