About The Role
We're looking for a
Project Quality Manager to join the team working on a major upgrade of the Rolls Royce site in Derby. This is a key role on a large-scale construction programme that supports future UK Government projects and investment in advanced manufacturing capability.
As the
Project Quality Manager, you'll help shape and deliver a culture of quality across all phases of the project - from design and construction through to commissioning and handover. You'll be a trusted voice on quality matters, helping ensure the project is delivered to the highest standards, safely, efficiently and with lasting value.
What you'll be doing
You'll Be
- Developing and leading te implementation of the project's Quality Management Plan
- Working with contractors, consultants and client teams to align quality expectations and deliverables
- Supporting quality assurance and control activities throughout the construction process
- Leading on inspections, audits and tracking quality performance across the project lifecycle
- Helping identify and resolve any quality issues and promoting continuous improvement
- Providing guidance and support to the wider project team to embed best practices in quality
Who we're looking for
You'll Have
- Experience managing quality on complex construction or infrastructure projects - ideally in regulated sectors like defence, aerospace or nuclear
- A strong working knowledge of relevant standards such as ISO 9001 and familiarity with CDM regulations
- A collaborative approach and confidence working with a range of stakeholders
- A background in engineering, construction or quality management with relevant qualifications (eg CQI, IRCA, NEBOSH or similar)
- Experience in secure or highly regulated environments is a plus but not essential
- Eligibility to obtain UK Government security clearance
