We are seeking an experienced Project Test Analyst to join our Business Change team at the HCPC. This role plays a key part in delivering the ambitions set out in our Corporate Plan, supporting organisation-wide change that strengthens how we regulate and protect the public.
The HCPC is currently implementing a new Customer Engagement strategy which aims to deliver multiple changes across our business process and technology systems over the next three years.
We will be selecting a new strategic telephony partner to initially change our current technology, enabling us to embed the new relationship and systems at the HCPC, followed by a broader strategy to implement a single contact centre, integrated with other technologies (including our CRM) to provide a new experience for the HCPC.
This role will ensure that we are able to implement the first phase of the change which is a functional as-is replacement of our current telephony system (including a contact centre in a safe manner).
Whilst the role is specifically aimed at the delivery of the Customer Contact project, the HCPC may choose to involve you in other testing activities across the organisation as required
Purpose and Main duties
The role will be crucial in partnering with subject matter experts at the HCPC and liaising with our external technology Partner to produce test scripts and acceptance criteria that meet the requirements specified.
Conducting both hands-on or guiding test execution, test plan development, test script development to ensure that appropriate testing practices are embedded within the delivery lifecycle.
Primary focus on functional (user-focused) testing to ensure that delivered solutions meet specified requirements and support successful adoption. The role supports the wider quality agenda by advising technical and delivery teams on effective testing approaches.
Candidate Requirements
- Educated to graduate level or equivalent skills and knowledge.
- At least 3 years' experience in a Test Analyst role
- Experience testing integrations on Customer Contact solutions with D365 and other 3rd party applications
- Experience testing cloud-based telephony systems and contact solutions
- Experience establishing test approaches and plans for project execution
- Experience of managing and executing non-functional tests such as load testing, penetration testing and usability testing
- Experience using Azure Dev Ops (previously Visual Studio Team Services) or an equivalent for bug tracking
- Experience supporting users and subject matter experts is delivering project UAT
- Experience translating supplier guides into reusable project test scripts
- Good oral and written communications with an ability to communicate complex technical information effectively with peers, third parties and stakeholder
