I am working with a well established commercial law firm (100+ years of heritage, mid market City presence and international network) that is seeking an exceptional Property Litigation Partner to further strengthen and grow its property disputes capability.

The firm provides integrated legal services to UK and international clients across a range of sectors and is recognised for its pragmatic, commercially-focused and client centric approach. It offers a collaborative environment where senior lawyers can genuinely shape practice strategy and drive growth.

The Opportunity

You will join as a core member of the litigation/dispute resolution leadership team with responsibility for:

Leading, developing and expanding the property litigation practice (commercial and residential disputes)
Acting on high-value and complex matters, acting for corporate, investor and private clients

Building opportunities across related areas (e.g., landlord and tenant disputes, co-ownership issues, breaches of covenant and rights of way)

Supporting business development, strengthening client relationships, and attracting new work/referrals

Mentoring and coaching more junior litigation lawyers

The firm already has a reputable property disputes service acting in a broad range of commercial lease, boundary, forfeiture, dilapidations and co-ownership disputes, and sees this appointment as key to accelerating further growth.

What You’ll Bring

Proven track record as a partner or senior associate in property litigation
Strong technical litigation skills and confidence in leading strategic client advice
Experience of winning and running mandates, business development acumen, and a network of potential referrers/clients
Entrepreneurial mindset with ambition to grow a distinctive practice within a collaborative mid-market firm
