Qualifications
The role of the Proposal Coordinator is to support the development of qualifications, proposals, presentations, and other business development-related deliverables and collateral in pursuit of new business for the company. The Proposal Coordinator helps prepare the proposal schedule, perform research, organize content, and create and organize bids for submission within the following parameters:
- Works closely with proposal managers, business developers, and project personnel to develop collateral (including proposals, quals, CVs, etc.) that enhance our competitive position.
- Leverage the global network to identify and put forward the company’s unique capabilities and resources.
- Collaborate with other marketing team members to leverage material for local use and provide insight from regional activities for corporate exposure.
- Ensure that all business development documents comply with our corporate identity program and client confidentiality requirements.
- As a member of the Marketing and Proposals team, the coordinator will also be engaged in special projects and initiatives as necessary to support the growth and visibility of the organization’s brand.
We Rely On You To
- Work with the proposals and delivery teams to coordinate and create consolidated, high-impact, competitive bid proposals. (40%)
- Develop and maintain qualification materials including project descriptions, experience matrices/overviews, safety and quality statistics, capability statements, etc. (20%)
- Create digital and print materials such as brochures, infographics, layouts, and presentation handouts for sales opportunities. (20%)
- Updates and manages CV database. (10%)
- Support the management of the CRM pipeline of opportunities, wins/losses, contact information, etc. (10%)
- Must adhere to office safety guidelines and follow corporate quality work processes. Travel is minimal, but there might be a need to support regional offices on bid opportunities when necessary.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a marketing or sales capacity with direct exposure to qualification package preparation, proposal development, and creating winning presentations
- Proven experience working with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, in particular InDesign
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Administrator Tasks
- Experience working in the A/E/C industry and active involvement in professional development associations, such as Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) or the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), etc. is considered a plus.
