What’s the role all about?
This role supports public health work across
Northern Lincolnshire (North and North East Lincolnshire), helping to reduce health inequalities and improve healthy life expectancy. A key focus will be on delivering innovative
tobacco control initiatives aligned with the
Smokefree agenda. You’ll work closely with Public Health Programme Managers, Principals, and Consultants, contributing to the development and implementation of strategies that make a real difference in people’s lives.
What will your day look like?
As a Public Health Officer, your day will be varied, you’ll take the lead in coordinating and supporting a wide range of public health projects, with a particular focus on implementing Tobacco Control Strategies across Northern Lincolnshire. You’ll prepare and present reports tailored to different audiences, track progress against key outcomes, and assist with evaluations to ensure programmes are delivering real results. A big part of your role will involve building and maintaining strong partnerships across health, local government, voluntary, and community sectors. You’ll work collaboratively across organisations to drive forward shared public health objectives.
