Purchasing & Logistics Warehouse Assistant/Forklift Driver

We are looking for an Assistant Technician/Fork Lift Truck Driver to join our warehouse team. This role is ideal for someone who already has practical forklift experience and a valid FLT licence, and is looking to continue developing their skills in a warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a forklift truck to move, load and unload goods
• Supporting general warehouse duties as required
• Checking goods for damage and reporting any issues
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and well organised
• Working as part of a team to meet daily targets
  
  

Safety & Compliance

• Always follow site safety rules and procedures
• Carry out basic daily checks on the forklift truck
• Report any faults, hazards or near misses
• Use PPE provided and work safely at all times
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• A valid counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely
• Good timekeeping and reliability
• Can work in a team as well as use their own initiative and work solo

forklift experience is essential
