Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Manager located in Basingstoke, reporting into our Head of Purchasing. You will be responsible for developing and implementing purchasing strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services. The role includes monitoring inventory levels, overseeing procurement processes, and working closely with other departments to ensure alignment with organisational goals. The ideal candidate will be working in a Purchasing role currently and wants to step up into management.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and implementing purchasing strategies
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Ability to manage supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of goods
• Competence in overseeing procurement processes and monitoring inventory levels
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on-site in Basingstoke
• Proficiency in using procurement software and tools
• Previous experience in the technology or data storage industry is a plus
