Investment Bank is looking to hire a tech lead Python Developer who is able to balance hands-on coding with team leadership responsibilities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and is passionate about mentoring and leading a team of developers.
You will be responsible for driving the design and development of scalable Python-based applications while ensuring high team performance and alignment with business goals.
Required Experience;
- Proven experience (7+ years) in Python development, with a strong understanding of frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Prior experience in a technical leadership or team lead role.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities;
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust Python applications and services.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and project timelines.
- Guide and mentor a team of software engineers, conducting code reviews and promoting best practices.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability through continuous integration and testing.
- Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks and production issues.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and propose their adoption where beneficial.
Desirable Experience;
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular) is a plus.
- Background in financial services, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
