About The Company
Ecotricity is recognized as Britain’s greenest energy company, dedicated to transforming the energy landscape through sustainable and renewable solutions. Established in 1995, Ecotricity pioneered the provision of green electricity, becoming the first in the world to supply this innovative energy source. Our mission is to revolutionize how energy is produced and consumed in Britain by replacing fossil fuels with clean, renewable alternatives. We actively reinvest in renewable energy projects such as windmills, sun parks, and green gasmills across Britain, embodying our commitment to environmental sustainability.
Our initiatives extend beyond energy supply, including the development of Britain’s first megawatt windmill, the country’s first grid-scale sun park, and green gasmills that generate 100% green gas from renewable sources. Additionally, we have built the Electric Highway, a comprehensive network of electric vehicle charging points, and supported initiatives like making Forest Green Rovers the world’s greenest football club and launching Ecotalk, Britain’s greenest mobile phone service. Ecotricity is an employer dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment and promoting sustainability at every level.
