Job Purpose
To work collaboratively with the QA Team, QA Manager, and Technical Manager to uphold food safety and quality standards, ensuring compliance with both internal and external customer requirements. This role is integral to maintaining the integrity of the site’s Food Safety and Quality Assurance systems.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure all food safety and customer standards are consistently met.
- Maintain and uphold internal and external QA standards.
- Verify production paperwork and ensure document control on the factory floor.
- Conduct quality checks, label verification, and temperature monitoring.
- Place product on hold or reject when necessary.
- Take and log samples (microbiological, ATP, organoleptic, trichinella).
- Perform metal detection and equipment verification (e.g., probes, scales).
- Issue work requests via Holistech system.
Communication & Collaboration
- Liaise effectively with production teams and management.
- Escalate major issues or changes to the QA/Technical Manager promptly.
- Complete reasonable requests from QA/Technical Manager.
Training & Support
- Support and train new QA team members as required.
Auditing
- Conduct GMP audits and maintain audit schedules.
- Carry out fabrication audits to ensure compliance with standards.

Qualifications
- Basic Induction Training
- Level 3 Food Safety
- HACCP Level 2
