Are you ready to take the lead in shaping a safer, smarter, and more sustainable future? We're on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager to join our team at Project Armada, based on-site at HMS Drake.

🌟 What You'll Be Doing:
- Championing a robust safety culture across the site, ensuring compliance with Mitie's Integrated Business Management System and third-party accreditations.
- Leading the charge in risk reduction—protecting people, property, and the planet.
- Supporting the wider QHSE function through incident investigations, audits, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Building strong, collaborative relationships with both internal teams and clients to drive engagement and excellence.
🛠 Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement proactive risk mitigation strategies.
- Keep the team ahead of the curve with up-to-date knowledge of legislation and best practices.
- Ensure operational managers and staff are trained, competent, and confident in QHSE matters.
- Conduct specialist risk assessments, manage documentation, and support insurance claims.
- Be ready to roll up your sleeves for ad hoc duties that keep the business running smoothly.
✅ What We're Looking For:
- A Certified IOSH member (minimum).
- Proven experience in Facilities Management or a similar industry.
- Strong background in Environmental Management, industrial work, and working at heights.
- Experience managing multi-site, multi-disciplinary operations—especially in Hard Services.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A self-starter who thrives on independence and initiative.
- A full UK driving licence—a company vehicle is provided for site coverage.
