The Role As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for developing and applying knowledge in test automation to make a significant contribution to the modernization of the IT landscape.
You will also create and maintain automated tests using Customer Group toolset.
Key responsibilities:
• Design and build test scenarios using requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Record detailed test results and collaborate with agile team members as solutions are developed. • Report and track defects to closure, escalating as appropriate.
• Perform all aspects of test verification, including environment management, functional and regression testing. TCS Confidential | 2 Your Profile Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
• Previous experience in test automation, test-driven development, and testing frameworks.
• Experience in one or more coding languages (specifically Python, .Net and C#).
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, REST Assured.
• Working knowledge in test automation of RESTFul Services (Inc. Swagger), SOAP Services, web user interfaces.
• Skilled in Continuous Integration (Jenkins), Source control, and BitBucket.
• Demonstrable experience in IT with an in-depth track record in test execution.
• Previous experience in accurately documenting and reporting test results and defects to the established standards.
• Experience of working within an agile environment and familiarity with agile tools (JIRA / Confluence) and related processes.
• Proven ability to engage with a variety of IT teams and suppliers to achieve timely and successful outcomes.
• Ability to embrace and adapt to change.
• Exposure to the Financial Services industry and mission-critical systems.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
• Experience in Oracle SQL.
• Previous experience with Windows client and server-based applications.
• Ability to take initiative to identify and provide solutions in a team environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with ability to share ideas with developers and analysts.
• Knowledgeable of contract management systems or similar customer-level servicing and transactional accounting systems.
• Knowledge and experience of the Automotive Finance industry.
