Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to support the UK Electrical business line. In this critical role, you will help maintain and enhance quality management systems, ensuring our services consistently meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will play a key part in supporting accreditation audits and driving continuous improvement across the business.

Required skills and experience:

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in relevant quality management field
• Experience in design and creation of procedures and processes related to quality and compliance.
• Experience working to accreditation standards such as ISO/IEC 17025, 17065 & 17020 and Experience in working with and being audited by accreditation bodies.
• Ability to analyse existing processes and implement process improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Experience of managing and performing internal audits.
• Ability to undertake root cause, corrective and preventative action analysis.
• It would be beneficial, but not required, to have experience and/or knowledge of electrical safety testing and certification.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

You will assist in the maintenance of the quality management systems of the UK Electrical business line to ensure underlying processes in respect to quality and accreditation are effective, fit for purpose and support the needs of the business line.

You will also ensure products, services, and processes meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements through audits, analysis, and recommendations for improvement.

Key activities:

• Support and maintain quality management systems aligned to ISO/IEC 17025, 17065 & 17020.
• Identify non-conformances and lead on root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
• Assist in preparing for and responding to external and internal audits.
• Maintain records of audits and quality actions, ensuring effective implementation.
• Collaborate with teams to improve processes and cultivate a strong quality culture.
