Job Description
As a
Quality Control Inspector specializing in fresh produce, you will report to the QA Manager and work as part of our Operations team in Hereford, UK. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing fresh produce.
- Monitoring product quality, appearance, and freshness to ensure standards are met.
- Verifying compliance with food safety regulations and customer specifications.
- Identifying and resolving quality issues promptly to maintain product integrity.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of inspection results.
Qualifications
Do you have the skills we’re looking for? We seek candidates with:
- Proven experience in quality control, preferably in the fresh produce industry.
- Previous experience with berries, such as blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries, would be a plus. However, experience in quality control inspection of other fruits is also acceptable.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Avaibility : ASAP.
- Work schedule: 5 days per week, including Saturdays worked, with two days off.
- A valid driver’s license and a car.
