We have a great opportunity for an experienced Lab Supervisor to join our team where you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our Quality Control laboratory. You will lead a team of QC Technicians in supporting daily quality control activities within our aseptic production department.

- Job Title: Lab Supervisor QC
- Department: QC, BBCAPS
- Location: Thorncliffe Park, Sheffield, S35 2PW
- Working Hours: 37.5 Hours Weekly
- Contract: 12 months fixed term contract
- Participating and assisting in the training of technical and support staff who are working in the aseptic manufacturing unit
- Ensuring appropriate environmental monitoring is undertaken, documented and trended as defined by the Quality Manager
- Undertake validation of laboratory equipment and processes where required to maintain compliance with GMP.
- Support the Quality Manager in the quality control / assurance of products made within the aseptic manufacturing unit.
- Generate protocols and reports for all analytical validation work
- Proven experience of line management responsibilities
- Proven experience of working within a laboratory environment within a commercial or NHS environment
- Microbiology knowledge is desirable but not essential
- Excellent communicator with attention to detail
- A methodical and organised approach to work
- Ability to work under pressure, take ownership and prioritise appropriately
