The Role
Are you someone who enjoys getting stuck in and making things happen? We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on individual to join our Network team-someone who doesn’t just analyse the data but uses it to drive real improvements across our water network.
As Quality Analyst you’ll work closely with the Network Maintenance Manager and wider teams to monitor performance, support key decisions, and help ensure our operations run smoothly. From digging into raw data to supporting daily delivery, this is a role for someone who thrives on “doing the do” and making a real impact where it counts.
Key Accountabilities:
- Monitor and analyse network performance data to support the team process and drive improvements.
- Maintain performance trackers and accurate flushing volume records for water quality and regulatory reporting.
- Ensure high safety standards, supporting audits, investigations, and team-wide safety performance.
- Analyse water quality contacts (e.g discolouration, taste and odour) and conduct root cause investigations using internal processes.
- Present data and insights at monthly County Performance meetings alongside the Network Maintenance Manager and Team Leader.
- Support technician engagement by tracking monthly catch-ups and producing county-level performance reports.
- Prioritise and coordinate DMA flushing activity, managing related mailboxes and weekly flushing schedules.
- Act as a key contact for the Water Quality Exceedance Team, supporting timely response to flushing and data requests.
- Promote knowledge sharing and consistently apply best practices across the team.
Essential Skills
- Strong technical and analytical experience within water networks, with a solid understanding of regulatory standards.
- Strong analytical, numerical, IT and data manipulation skills, with a solution-focused mindset.
- High level of technical knowledge to ensure accuracy, compliance and quality of outputs.
- Confident working independently and collaboratively, with the ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to influence, engage, and collaborate effectively.
