Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our team in a permanent capacity. In this role, you will design and implement robust testing strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality software that meets business, functional, and technical requirements. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to both manual and automated testing efforts, and continuously improve quality assurance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Planning & Strategy:
- Develop comprehensive test strategies and detailed test plans aligned with project requirements, timelines, and specifications.
- Requirements Analysis:
- Evaluate and interpret business, functional, and technical documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
- Risk & Issue Management:
- Identify and report discrepancies, risks, and issues, ensuring alignment between delivered output and agreed specifications.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, define priorities, and clarify project objectives.
- Test Execution:
- Define and execute test cases for integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) phases.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance testing methodologies and personal skillsets.
- Manual & Automated Testing:
- Conduct manual and automated tests across multiple environments to verify functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Test Documentation:
- Record test results, analyze outcomes, and ensure traceability to requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Regression Testing:
- Maintain and update automated scripts and execute regression test suites to ensure long-term product stability.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in QA and software testing, including both manual and automated approaches.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work on-site at client locations 3–4 days per week.
