Quality Engineer

The One Group are pleased to be working with a leading manufacturer of CNC Machined components to a range of sectors in Hertfordshire who are seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to be joining a growing business and are seeking a self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills to ensure the companies products manufactured meet the highest quality standards for the aerospace and defence industries.

The day to day duties include:

• Ensure products conform to AS9100 and ISO901 standards
• Lead of support investigations of NCR’s and implement effective corrective actions using quality tools
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits
• Support supplier evaluation and approval process

What we are looking for:

• Strong understanding of AS9100 quality standards and proficient in root cause analysis
• Knowledge of FAIR’s, PPAP and APQP
• Familiar with ITAR and MoD quality regulations
• 3 – 5 years in a quality role within Aerospace or Defence manufacturing
