Working within a fast-paced environment the job holder will work within the Quality team to facilitate the analysis, design, and implementation of process solutions to drive quality performance improvements. You will work along a team based on site, working collaboratively with Production employees and Management.
This role is based on site 5 days a week in Killingworth.
Role Responsibilities
* Monitor daily department performance KPI’s identifying areas for improvement.
* Calculates metrics and evaluate process and quality data to recommend improvement opportunities.
* Provides assistance with process troubleshooting and optimisation analysis.
* Ensure compliance with all documented quality systems in line with business requirements.
* Perform/conduct Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA), Measurement System Error Analysis (MSE), Design of Experiments (DOE), Validations to minimise potential risk during manufacturing activity.
* Provide statistical support during improvement activity is sampling plans, capability assessments and process development.
* Act as Voice of the Customer for allocated customers building up and maintaining detailed knowledge/documentation of customer critical to quality standards, manufacturing processes, managing the resolution of NCRs and previous issues.
* Conduct internal audits to support the business quality management systems.
* Manage multiple projects related to process improvements.
* Assisting in developing a long-term strategy for continuous improvement
* Adherence to Health and Safety best practices in line with Company policy and current legislation.
* Performs other job duties as assigned.
