About the role

Kinneir Dufort (KD) is a world-class user-centred innovation and product development consultancy, specializing in the medical and consumer health sectors. As part of the SteriPack Group, we collaborate globally with contract manufacturing facilities in Europe, the USA, and Asia, alongside additional design and product development teams in New Jersey and Colorado.

We’re seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Quality Manager to lead the development, implementation, and evolution of our Quality Management Systems (QMS). This is a pivotal leadership role that ensures our processes not only meet industry standards but also support our wider business strategy through effective quality practices and continuous improvement.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Continuous Improvement, VP Global Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance, Senior Management, and cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives, align on best practices, and embed a culture of quality across the organization.

About you

You’re a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader with a passion for quality and continuous improvement. You thrive in complex environments where you can shape systems, influence stakeholders, and embed best practices across an organization.

You bring deep expertise in Quality Management Systems and have a track record of driving change through collaboration and clear communication. Whether you’re conducting audits, training teams, or advising senior leadership, you approach challenges with a solutions-based mindset and a commitment to excellence.

You enjoy working both at a high strategic level and in the detail, ensuring that quality isn’t just a function but a culture. If you’re looking for a role where your work directly contributes to operational success and long-term business growth, this could be the perfect role for you.

Your skills and experience

Whilst you do not need to meet all of these points, please ensure you meet the majority of them before making an application:

  • Proven experience in leading and managing Quality Management Systems, ideally with ISO13485 Medical Device Development (or a similarly regulated sector), a consultancy environment; or a multi-site organization.
  • Demonstrable experience of designing, implementing and maintaining quality procedures, guidelines and documentation.
  • Experience in planning and conducting internal and external audits for certification i.e. ISO13485 and 9001.
  • Experience of identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities across business processes.
  • High level of knowledge and understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks i.e. ISO standards and GDPR.
  • Excellent attention to detail and insight driven – being entirely comfortable with audits, data analysis, lessons learned reviews and investigations.
  • Experience in supplier management and approval processes.
  • Experience with supporting business development where quality management processes are a feature & reviewing proposals where appropriate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with high-level organizational skills that bring people with you in terms of quality processes.
  • Previous experience of integrating businesses to align on common quality processes would be desirable.

For this role we are considering a salary of up to £50,000 per annum.
