Description
About The Role

Be part of this ‘once in a generation’ project that will deliver clean energy to 6 million homes for the next 60 years. Sizewell C will see the creation of a 3.2 Gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast to provide reliable load low-carbon electricity.

The Civil Works Alliance is an extended delivery enterprise involving Sizewell C and three international construction companies: Balfour Beatty, Bouygues Travaux Publics and Laing O’Rourke.

We are more than just an alliance, we are bringing together a single delivery organisation with years of learning and experience from other major complex infrastructure programmes worldwide.

What you'll be doing

To be part of an effective project Quality Team and support CWA to deliver the project in accordance with customer and stakeholder requirements and commitments, including verification activities to demonstrate full compliance with Sizewell C, project and legislative requirements.

To lead the implementation and delivery of the Life Time Quality Records (LTQR) strategy, ensuring that records are progressively generated, structured, and submitted in compliance with project, regulatory, and client requirements. The Records Manager will be the key custodian of the LTQR process, owning the LTQR procedure and driving alignment across suppliers, delivery teams, and document control.

Own and maintain the LTQR Procedure and ensure alignment with client specifications

  • Lead the LTQR delivery strategy across the project, including defining, updating, and managing the Partitioning Strategy, End-Reports, and Grandparent ECSR.
  • Drive progressive delivery of LTQRs to avoid backlogs and ensure timely handover at each contract milestone.
  • Support and guide Quality Managers and Delivery Teams in the preparation and maintenance of Initial, Planned, and Final End-Reports.
  • Monitor LTQR List of Deliverables (LOD), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with Teamcenter and ASITE placeholders.
  • Lead LTQR QA-Checks, ensuring compliance with formatting, traceability, completeness, and technical correctness standards.
  • Liaise with client stakeholders to support LTQR acceptance and issue resolution.
  • Provide training and mentoring on LTQR expectations, templates, and good practices.
  • Ensure records are scanned, uploaded, and stored in accordance with retention, disaster recovery, and nuclear regulatory requirements (e.g., LC6).
  • Support audit readiness and client inspections by ensuring records are readily retrievable and traceable via the Golden Thread.
  • Coordinate with document control teams to package, version, and submit LTQRs via Teamcenter and ASITE.

Who we're looking for

Proven experience managing quality records or document control systems in major infrastructure or nuclear projects.

  • Strong understanding of LTQR principles, regulatory compliance (e.g., ONR LC6), and project handover requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead progressive submission of deliverables and avoid bottlenecks.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and reporting skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Experience with EDRMS tools such as Teamcenter, ASITE, FieldView, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of ITPs, QA processes, and traceability systems (e.g., ECS Codes).
  • Able to influence and support engineering, quality, and delivery teams across disciplines and organisations.
  • Qualification in Information Management, Engineering, Quality, or equivalent.
  • Preferable familiarity with ISO 9001 and nuclear site license requirements.
  • Preferable experience in managing QA documentation in a joint venture or alliance environment.
  • Preferable previous experience with LTQRs in a regulated project context
