About The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team and play a key role in delivering high-quality building and civil engineering projects. You’ll be responsible for managing project costs, supporting procurement, and ensuring value for money while maintaining the highest standards. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you’ll also support and mentor junior team members.

What you'll be doing
As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be involved in a wide range of commercial and project management activities, including:
- Managing and valuing work in line with project specifications and procedures
- Preparing estimates, bills of quantities, and schedules of rates
- Supporting procurement and managing subcontractor relationships
- Monitoring project costs and preparing cost reconciliation statements
- Using ERP systems to track project performance
- Reviewing and planning commercial activities to align with project programmes
- Supporting stakeholder and customer engagement
- Maintaining governance and compliance with internal systems and standards
- Contributing to the development of junior team members
Who we're looking for
We’re seeking a confident and capable Quantity Surveyor who has:
- A BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent experience
- Several years of experience in a similar role within construction or civil engineering
- Strong analytical and commercial skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- A proactive, achievement-focused mindset
- A good understanding of estimating, cost control, and procurement processes
- Experience using ERP systems and interpreting technical drawings
