Our Client an Engineering company are seeking an experienced Commercial Quantity Surveyor for a permanent position in Hull location. This role is placed within industrial or construction sector.

Role

As a Quantity Surveyor you will be working on Puma project based on Saltend in Hull, and this role offers the chance to work on high-value projects across the North East, playing a pivotal role in managing the commercial and contractual aspects of live projects. You'll be instrumental in driving financial performance, ensuring cost control, and maintaining compliance with company procedures.

Responsibilities

As a Quantity Surveyor you will be supporting a site-based commercial team across MSIP & E&I contracts. You will prepare and manage cost reports, CVRs, and financial forecasts.

You will lead subcontract procurement, negotiation, and final account settlements. Ensure strict compliance with contractual obligations and commercial governance.

Liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams. Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage project cash flow. Contribute to month-end reporting and performance analysis

Experience

Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying within the industrial or construction sector.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills
Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (RICS membership is a plus)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Excellent numerical and communication abilities
