About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team and provide expert commercial and contractual support across a diverse portfolio of projects. You’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered in line with contractual obligations, internal controls, and industry standards. From managing post-contract activities to driving continuous improvement in commercial practices, this is a role where your expertise will make a real impact.
In this role, you will deliver and control post-contract management across multiple projects while maintaining high-level commercial assurance on contracts, including NEC, JCT, and bespoke frameworks. You will drive performance through improved contract management and variation control, supporting project managers with forecasting and spend control to ensure efficiency. Additionally, you will assist in building budget estimates for PAG approval using cost data and measurement techniques, monitor delivery partner progress on-site, verify costs, and manage compensation events. A key part of the role involves leading on contract resolution issues with a focus on affordability and risk mitigation, partnering with procurement to select contractual routes and evaluate tenders, and carrying out mini-tender procurement activities for non-framework projects. Building strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to align objectives will be essential to your success.
