Social Infrastructure - Our team of Social Infrastructure specialists revitalise homes and communities by carrying out a wide range of work, from retrofit to refurbishment, and maintenance.
We are seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor to support procurement, cost control, and project financial management across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
Raise and issue purchase orders to suppliers on time.
Monitor and report on risks, opportunities, and project cost issues.
Prepare commercial updates and reports as required.
Build and manage strong supplier relationships.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Research and assess new suppliers, and compile supplier performance data.
Break down site budgets and upload them into systems (SiteTracker, Business Central).
Regularly monitor labour, plant, and material budgets and raise concerns ahead of weekly meetings.
Raise quotes and invoices on SiteTracker/Business Central.
Prepare and analyse project costings for final accounts.
Support additional commercial tasks as needed to ensure project and company success.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience in quantity surveying or commercial support roles (utilities/infrastructure preferred).
Strong organisational and numerical skills.
Ability to work accurately with budgets, cost data, and procurement systems.
Good communication and supplier management ability.
