We are recruiting for a Package Co-Ordinator / Rail Administrator to join us here at Octavius, working with our E&P team on the Southern Renewals Enterprise. This is a new role and will therefore be an 12-month fixed term contract in the first instance.
The Southern Renewals Enterprise (SRE) is accountable for the Southern Region's renewals programme (CP7 & CP8) and through collective expertise will develop, mobilise and deliver a £9 billion programme between 2024 – 2034.
The Southern Integrated Delivery (SID), which forms part of the SRE, is a fully integrated commercial partnership between AtkinsRéalis, Network Rail, Octavius, VolkerFitzpatrick and VolkerRail.through our collective strength, capability and knowledge we will own and deliver the renewals programme and together we achieve and share in its success.
You'll be working on…. (what your role and responsibility is)
To support the Rail teams in safe and efficient project delivery through:
- Supporting, producing and monitoring the process of role appointments across all rail projects.
- Ensuring Package compliance with information control process, managing interfaces between the Package, our Supply chain and the Information control team.
- Supporting Rail projects to remain compliant with core document and information management tasks.
- Supporting the Project Management Team through the provision of compliance in monitoring and reporting metrics and KPIs.

About You…. (what You Are Skilled At)
- Excellent knowledge of MS 365 Products, specifically Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel.
- Prior experience in an administration or document control function is required (training on our systems will be provided however we will expect the candidate to be understand the concepts of document management and be able to implement these within our systems).
- Previous experience or knowledge of railway AMP, GRIP / PACE deliverables would be desirable; however, training will be provided.

- GCSE min 5 at Grade C or above.
- Demonstration of good English, IT and numeracy.

- Able to work on multiple projects/tasks in quick succession.
- Able to quickly form working relationships with a wide range of teams across the Raildelivery teams with excellent communication skills.
