What you’ll be doing:
We are looking for an experienced and driven individual to join the Risk and Compliance Directorate as a RCD Systems and Platforms Officer. This is a critical role within the Risk Systems and Platforms team, supporting the development, oversight, and strategic direction of SJP’s risk technology architecture, data capabilities, and automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design and development of R&C systems, ensuring advanced technology and automation enhance efficiency, insight, and user experience.
- Develop and oversee automated reporting (e.g. RCSA, KRIs) for senior management and governance forums.
- Drive improvements in risk data quality, insights, and visualisation capabilities.
- Contribute to the design and oversight of risk data platforms, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Support the development of AI use cases in partnership with the FCA AI Lab and oversee their integration into the wider RCD platform.
- Stay informed of regulatory changes, ensuring the risk platform remains compliant and future-fit.
- Help maintain oversight of platform architecture and associated budgets across RCD.

- Proven experience in developing systems, data management, and reporting in a risk and compliance context.
- Strong knowledge of non-financial risk management, ideally within wealth management, asset management, banking or similar financial services.
- Expertise in risk frameworks, reporting, and data visualisation tools.
- A digital-first and automation-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across business functions including Legal, Compliance, and Audit.
Desirable
- Experience with AI use case development or working with AI in risk contexts.
- Exposure to regulatory labs or innovation initiatives (e.g. FCA AI Lab).
- Knowledge of Process Risk and Control (PRC) taxonomies and risk data dictionaries.
- Experience in platform or architecture budget oversight.
