We are now looking for a Reablement Supervisor to join our Reablement Team. In this pivotal role, you will supervise and support a team of Reablement Assistants, ensuring that our services are delivered with compassion, professionalism, and high standards of care and support. Key Responsibilities

As a Staff Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising, supporting, and guiding a team of reablement workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. Your key responsibilities will include:

Team Leadership: Provide day-to-day supervision and leadership to reablement assistants, ensuring they are supported, motivated, and working effectively.

Supporting Effective Service Delivery: Ensure the delivery of high-quality care and reablement services, supporting individuals to regain or develop independence in daily living tasks.

Staff Development: Offer guidance and training to team members, assisting them in developing their skills and ensuring they are equipped to deliver the best care possible.

Performance Management: Monitor staff performance, conduct regular one-to-ones, and provide constructive feedback to maintain high standards.

Collaboration: Work closely with wider SCC departments, as appropriate and other multi-disciplinary professionals, ensuring an holistic, coordinated approach to service delivery.

Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and CQC standards, making sure services are continuously improved to meet the needs of service users.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate individual who has a genuine commitment to improving the lives of those in need of support.

You Will Have

Essential Qualifications:

  • A relevant Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (e.g., Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent).
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Experience of working with people with physical disabilities, mental health, learning disabilities, and / or older adults.
  • Understanding and experience of developing effective care plans, monitoring care delivery, and supporting service users to achieve their goals.
  • Strong understanding of person-centred and strength-based approaches to care.
  • Experience in performance management and providing supervision to a team.

Skills And Abilities

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team to achieve high-quality outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with service users, families, and other professionals.
  • Ability to assess, monitor, and evaluate care delivery and make adjustments as needed.
  • Sound knowledge of safeguarding and risk management in adult social care.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
