Essential Skills And Experience
Ashurst Reach are recruiting an experienced lawyer with proven post-qualification experience in leveraged acquisition finance to join our dynamic banking team in London.
- You will work on a broad spectrum of high-quality transactions, with a particular focus on leveraged finance, buy-outs, acquisition finance, and restructuring.
- The role also offers exposure to related areas such as funds finance, real estate finance, infrastructure finance, and large-scale financial institution projects
- Drafting and negotiating term sheets, security documents, intercreditor agreements, and facilities agreements
- Advising clients on leveraged finance and restructuring matters
- Managing transactions and liaising with clients, colleagues, counterparties, and other advisers
- Leading negotiations and calls with counterparts
- Contributing to the development of department know-how and precedent documents
- Building and developing client relationships with support from partners and the wider team
Essential Skills
- Qualified solicitor or barrister in the UK
- Recent leverage finance experience working in private practice
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions
- Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills, with a commercial and adaptable approach
- Enthusiasm for business development and the ability to build your own client network
