The Transactional Real Estate team at Addleshaw Goddard’s Leeds office is seeking a 1+ year PQE lawyer to join its expanding practice. Acting for FTSE 100 companies and significant local clients, the role involves a broad range of real estate work, including sales and purchases of substantial investment properties, portfolio management, and advising national developers and occupiers across various sectors. The team offers first-class technical training and seeks an enthusiastic lawyer aiming to build a long-term career delivering high-quality, commercial advice.
What You'll Do:
In this role, you will work on market-leading deals, including landlord and tenant matters, property management, sales and purchases, development, regeneration, and corporate support. You will act for prominent clients such as British Land, Aviva, Travelodge, Asda, and National Grid, competing with top-tier firms and negotiating on significant transactions. Responsibilities include maintaining client relationships, delivering timely advice, and collaborating on large-scale matters in a supportive, high-performing environment. Early responsibility and continuous professional development are key aspects of the role, with access to training, mentoring, and leadership programmes.
Who We're Looking For:
Candidates should have at least 1 year of commercial real estate experience, strong drafting skills, and the ability to manage tasks efficiently under pressure. Enthusiasm, resilience, and a client-focused approach are essential, alongside a commitment to continuous learning and understanding clients’ needs to deliver impactful advice.
