Our offices are based in prime locations, and we are seeking a Real Estate Legal Assistant to enhance our growing Real Estate team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to contribute to a dynamic team within a supportive, forward-thinking firm.
Role Overview
You will be assisting with good quality transactional work with a variety of real estate property clients, so will possess excellent communication skills and be competent at providing hands on support to the Partners in the team and be able to hit the ground running. Attention to detail and an ability to learn fast is critical and will be rewarded.
Tasks Would Include
- File opening/closing, client onboarding and compliance;
- Registration applications, including applications for registration at the Land Registry and Companies House;
- Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, leases, and contracts;
- Ordering searches through our online search provider, downloading official documents from the Land Registry;
- Draft standard legal documents and letters under supervision;
- Preparation of stamp duty land tax submissions;
- Diary management, updating clients and chasing third parties;
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using the firm’s case management system;
- Monitor key deadlines and assist with progressing transactions efficiently;
- There will also be the opportunity for some supervised fee-earning work for those with relevant experience or a desire to progress within the role.

About You
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and committed to delivering first-class service to clients and will be highly organised with the ability to prioritise, work to deadlines and manage multiple matters accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum of 2 years’ real estate property experience. Those with residential property experience will also be considered.
