The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate or a Principal Associate (4 years PQE upwards) to join our Real Estate team in Manchester.
This role will see you focussing on development work in the hospitality and leisure sectors and we’d love to speak to you if you are familiar with these sectors, including hotel developments.
We put the client at the centre of everything we do and you will work with us to manage relationships with high-profile clients and help a number of household names deliver their business strategies. You will work closely with the partners and team based in Manchester but also work cross-office with colleagues to gain a broad experience of transactions and deliver and build on your commercial awareness to support clients’ strategic goals during expansion or restructuring.

What do we need from you?
We’re looking for motivated, driven commercial real estate lawyers with experience of drafting and negotiating development agreements, pre-let agreements, and forward funding arrangements You will also have an understanding of conditional acquisitions, sub-sales, and site assembly.
The team also advises on lease negotiation and management for retail, leisure, and licensed premises and we’re seeking experience of portfolio management for large corporate clients.
You will be used to handling acquisitions and disposals of commercial property and working with investors and developers on structuring deals
