We are recruiting for a Receptionist to join the Facilities team onsite at our York office working 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday.
The Receptionist will provide a professional and welcoming first point of contact for all site visitors and employees, while delivering high quality routine administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Facilities function.
The role will manage the full visitor booking process and be the first point of contact for visitors and colleagues, providing a friendly and professional welcome with front of house experience.
They will process the incoming and outgoing mail, maintain the departments stationery and equipment inventory and manage administrative tasks such as car registration notifications, new starters and colleague change notifications and gym inductions. They will also assist in the emergency evacuation procedure. While actively managing and monitoring the Facilities emails and acting as first line for any colleagues queries.
We’re looking for candidates with skills and experience including:
Essential
- Proven ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Experience with successfully maintaining accurate administrative records and processes
- Able to work autonomously, multitask and prioritise own workload
- Able to demonstrate building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Has a practical hands-on, flexible and innovative approach to work
- Experience with MS Office packages, including Word and Excel
This role is full time, Monday to Friday 8am 4pm and based on-site at our York office,
