About The Role
As an
Alcohol Recovery Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting people on their recovery journey. Your work will focus on helping individuals to build resilience, reduce alcohol-related harm, and achieve long-term recovery. You will
- Carry out assessments of need, including current use, history, health, and social situation.
- Develop personalised recovery plans in collaboration with service users.
- Deliver one-to-one and group alcohol-specific interventions.
- Run recovery pods and community groups to support people at different stages of their journey.
- Provide outreach to individuals, including those engaged in street drinking, supporting them to connect with treatment.
- Work closely with local agencies and partners to build effective care pathways.
- Promote safer choices, peer support and lasting recovery.
Location Coventry
Hours Full time, 37.5 per week
Full Time Salary Range* £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 (dependent on experience)
- Please note Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

- Has experience of working with people affected by alcohol or substance use.
- Can manage challenging situations with empathy, professionalism and respect.
- Is confident building trust and engaging with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Understands safeguarding and how to support vulnerable adults.
- Is organised, proactive and reflective in their practice.
- Brings a people-first approach, values inclusion and embraces continuous learning.
