Description
We are looking for an experienced Recruiting Manager to lead and inspire a group of Recruiters in the TAL3NT TA team for the EMEA region. Each Amazonian's growth is accelerated by the challenging work and remarkable people they encounter every day, amplified by the high degree of responsibility with which Amazonians are entrusted, and this is a critical role hiring for key customers across EMEA.
Responsibilities Include
- Owning delivery to key customers in Amazon across EMEA, ensuring a proactive and targeted approach to attracting the best talent.
- Leading, supporting and developing a team responsible for identifying, assessing and closing candidates and for providing a positive candidate experience.
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide first-class recruiting support and advice on hiring strategy.
- Working with partner recruiting teams and other stakeholders to provide a consolidated view of organizational staffing.
- Operating as an expert in industry best practices, monitoring new trends and opportunities to consistently raise the standard across Amazon.
- Analysing and implementing process improvements.
- Developing creative and effective sourcing strategies and plans to build pipelines for top candidates across all areas of the organization.
- Overseeing relationships with recruitment preferred suppliers and other external organizations.
- Implementing and enforcing consistency with our recruiting policies and procedure.
- Ensuring the quality of our recruiting process by facilitating skills training for managers and recruiters.
- Ensuring recruiting data accuracy; track and analyze statistical recruiting data to determine effectiveness of all recruiting activities.
- Leading or delivering on EU wide recruiting projects as defined by the local and EU teams.
- Communicating effectively and partnering with HR and training teams, ensuring combined objectives are achieved.
- Working to develop HR/TA employer brand through advertising, promotion, and community involvement with recruitment focused local events.
- Participating in or leading relevant training for the TA department and wider business.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable discipline such as Business or Human Resources, or equivalent experience.
- Leadership experience, with experience managing a team of recruiters or similar HR professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively consult with senior business leaders and recruiting peers to drive transformative change.
- Excellent ability to partner with a wide variety of mid to senior level candidates.
- Passionate advocate for candidate experience; constantly thinks about how to improve the experience for candidates and influences clients to consider candidates as Amazon customers.
- Creative thinker; able to build and drive innovative sourcing strategies to generate a diverse slate of candidates with minimal reliance on external agencies.
- Dedicated focus on developing self and others; coaches team members to grow and proposer in Amazon’s Global Talent Acquisition organization.
- Process oriented; creates standardized recruiting processes at all points in the candidate life cycle to improve recruiting efficiency.
- Ability to partner across geographies with respect and sensitivity to both local customs and team skill levels (entry to senior).
- Strong command of data with the ability to create ad hoc reports using existing tools and also partner with dedicated analysts to create advanced reports to meet global needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership experience, to include operational experience, change management, project management, stakeholder management, and communications.
- Experience with utilizing data and analytical skills to create, measure, and scale workflows to achieve accelerated hiring goals.
- People leadership experience with a proven ability to coach and develop and groom talent.
- Experience driving external marketing activities tied to recruiting strategy.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence others while working in a cross functional environment, including senior executive members of the business.
- Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills that convey complex ideas in a simplified manner.
- Experience partnering with global teams in a matrixed environment; agency background is advantageous, though not require.
