We are hiring experienced recruiters to build and grow an established US Actuarial - Health Insurance desk from our Manchester office. This is a rare opportunity to step into a warm, proven market with existing client relationships, strong historical performance, and significant growth potential.

This role is ideal for a high-performing perm recruiter who thrives on business development, wants exposure to the US market, and is motivated by building something long-term.

The Desk

• Actuarial Perm only – focused exclusively on the Health Insurance market
• Established desk with 20 - 25 active client relationships
• Average fee size: $42k
• Not a cold desk - you will inherit warm relationships and develop further business
• Part of a wider, growing US recruitment business

The Opportunity

• Fully UK-based in Manchester with hybrid working
• Option to relocate to New York or Chicago in the future
• Travel to the US supported
• We are building a team:
• 1 x Team Leader
• 2 x Experienced Consultants to follow
• Long-term vision to scale this into a 10-person team

Earnings & Performance

• Multiple consultants in the wider actuarial market billing £400k+, with top performers exceeding £1m

Who We’re Looking For

• An experienced permanent recruitment consultant or team leader
• Strong business development capability
• Previous experience recruiting into the US market or a desire to
• Confident managing and developing warm client relationships
• Ambitious, commercial, and motivated to build a high-performing desk and team
