About the Role
As a Recruitment Consultant, your primary purpose is to attract top talent and match them to exciting opportunities across contract, temporary and fixed-term vacancies. These roles range from entry-level to executive and director-level positions. A key focus of this role is achieving performance targets and driving new business growth through proactive client engagement and candidate sourcing.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate new business through cold calling, networking, and client meetings.
- Deliver engaging sales presentations and tailored proposals that clearly showcase Reed’s unique value.
- Conduct market research to identify hiring trends and strategically promote top candidates to clients.
- Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Understand client recruitment processes and deliver bespoke solutions aligned to their needs.
- Consistently provide a high-quality, client-focused service that exceeds expectations.
- Match candidate skills and experience accurately to client vacancies, ensuring the best fit.
- Advertise roles effectively across job boards, social media, and other relevant platforms.
- Manage candidate expectations and provide clear, supportive guidance throughout the recruitment journey.
- Complete thorough background checks and ensure full compliance with internal systems and processes.
- Respond swiftly to client requirements by placing suitable candidates efficiently.
- Use creative marketing strategies and digital platforms to attract and engage new candidates.
- Build a robust talent pipeline through database searches, referrals, and professional networking.
- Collaborate closely with clients, candidates, and internal teams to ensure successful outcomes.
