Please note: Our new Ballysillan store is opening in November 2024. Although you are applying to work in our new Ballysillan store, your training will take place in our neighbouring Lidl stores.

What you'll do
Store Manager:
- Manage, recruit, and develop the best possible talent to ensure the long-term success of the business
- Guarantee customer satisfaction by always aiming to exceed customer expectations and safeguarding customer service standards in your store
- Monitor and control staff costs, store productivity, inventory differences, write-offs and operational costs
- Apply and control the company principles of ‘Store Cleanliness’, ‘Customer Friendliness’ and ‘Minimal Queues at Tills’
- Monitor and ensure proper rotation of stock, freshness control and C-Date checks
- Adhere to all company procedures and commercial standards, i.e. reaching agreed store standards, presentation of merchandise, and the merchandising plan.
Deputy Store Manager:
- Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of your store
- Target-driven approach to KPIs
- Manage, motivate, and develop the store team
- Maintain excellent shop floor presentation
- Ensure adequate stock levels are always maintained
- Consistently deliver excellent customer service
What you'll need
Store Manager:
- A minimum of 2 years of management experience
- To have completed your A Levels or equivalent
- Confident and persuasive communication skills
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Able to work to strict deadlines
- Demonstrate the ability to adapt quickly to new situations
Deputy Store Manager:
- To have completed your A Levels or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years management experience in a fast-paced environment
- Full driving licence
- A passion for working in a fast-paced, varied environment, hitting targets and meeting deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The flexibility to work varying shift patterns
- Preferably, previous experience working as an Assistant Store Manager, but this is not essential provided you have the right attitude

Store Manager:
- £41,750 rising to £54,500 after 3 years
- Company car or car allowance
- 29 days holidays per annum rising to 34 days after 2 years (pro rata, including Bank Holidays)
