What will I be bringing to life in this role?
We are seeking a proactive and determined
Recruitment and Retention Co-ordinator to join our People & Culture team. This role is critical to bringing in talent, streamlining recruitment processes, and implementing initiatives that foster a positive, high-retention work environment. The ideal candidate is both people and data focused, bringing a passion for culture, diversity, and long-term employee engagement. This role will be expected to be in the MK office at least two days a week (Monday and Wednesday).
Recruitment
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for technical and non-technical roles, from job posting to onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop compelling job descriptions using our template and voice.
- Source and attract candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and guide hiring decisions with a focus on candidate experience and diversity hiring best practices.
- Celebrate and advertise our roles internally.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future needs.
- Design and champion Kinetics employer brand, creating engaging content, campaigns, and outreach strategies that communicate our unique culture, mission, and growth journey, making us a destination workplace in the eyes of top-tier talent.
- Understand and report on recruitment metrics.
Retention & Engagement
- Develop and implement employee retention initiatives alongside the Employee Engagement Manager to support a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
- Monitor turnover trends and understand exit interview data to identify areas for improvement.
- Support employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new hires feel welcomed and integrated.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employees, providing support on career progression, training opportunities, and internal mobility.
What will I need to hit the ground running?
Essential
- At least 2 years internal proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR with a focus on retention strategies.
- Knowledge of modern sourcing techniques and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust across departments.
- A strong lean into using AI as a recruitment tool.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Data-driven mindset with experience analysing recruitment and retention metrics.
Desirable
- Experience working in a software or technology-driven environment.
- Familiarity with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and HRIS platforms.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent certification.
- Passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
