The role
We are actively seeing regional key account managers (RKAM) within out technology vertical to help meet out ambitious goals within this competitive sector. This role will be managing and developing tech accounts across Europe and driving customer to our thriving supply chain network.
The focus will be on revenue growth, pipeline conversion, solution selling and relationship building across DP World’s integrated product suite. You will recognise key customers to target, understand their challenges and then build solutions with the wider DP World team to offer the most optimised end to end solutions across the DP World portfolio.
Using your existing network you will develop a pipeline of leads and opportunities and be able to drive business to DP World that will allow you to meet and exceed your financial targets. You will work with customer to meet their expectations relative to operational solutions, costs and results and ideally make customer aware of any challenges.
You will work with the wider DP World team to coordinate RfQs for new business opportunities and renewal of existing business owning the commercial relationship and providing key insight to the team.
As part of this role you will attend key events and conferences across Europe that will allow you to develop and foster new relationships with customers that will allow you to win new business. There will also be travel to other sites across Europe which will improve your knowledge of the services and offering for DP World.
So, who are we looking for?
Key Skills And Experience Include
- Strong experience of account management within the supply chain industry across the tech sector
- Demonstrable track record of winning and retaining key clients across Europe
- Experience of account management including the use of pricing templates, cost databases and other supporting tools
- A good understanding of production and logistics processes and their costs
- Excellent knowledge of logistics, 2 and 3 PL, multimodal, customs brokerage, ecommerce, related to the Tech sector covering solutions across Tech Consumer, Data Centres, Automation, Robotics etc.
- Fluency in English is essential and one other European language would be beneficial
- Willingness to travel across Europe and globally if needed .
