Here at ISS, as a leading Facilities Management (FM) provider, we are looking to develop our Sustainability expertise dedicated to a key Banking customer, specifically for their estate across Europe (none UK), by recruiting an established Sustainability Advisor looking to progress their careers
The purpose of the role is to manage sustainability and net zero operations programmes across the European operations of our customer, a major global universal bank. You will work as part of a coordinated global team to develop programmes to support ISS and customer sustainability and Net Zero operations targets and lead the implementation of these programmes across the Bank’s Europe region. You will work closely with country, regional and global ISS and customer teams and subject matter experts and will be the key customer contact for sustainability for the region.
The role will connect with sustainability leads across the Global ISS team to enable sharing of innovation and best practice, to drive improvements across our customers and ISS own performance.
This is a fantastic role for a developing Sustainability professional, ideally with experience of FM, or Corporate Real Estate
Actions will include:
- Define and develop the sustainability and net zero operations programme for the region to support customer and ISS sustainability targets and address areas of material impact.
- Have oversight of and coordinate work to develop and execute activity to reduce supply chain carbon as part of a larger account Climate Transition Plan.
- Work with Subject Matter Experts to facilitate the development and delivery of strategic change programmes in the region including the Energy Optimisation and Zero Waste programmes.
- Monitor and report on programme activity and progress on environmental targets
- Ensure sustainability is embedded into all aspects of ISS service delivery in the region including technical services, facilities management and curated and on-site colleague experiences
- Support the regional environmental forum to facilitate best practice in regional delivery
- Lead in the development and update of relevant regional sustainability guidance, toolkits and procedures for the region
- Coordinate the collection of regional environmental data, undertake validation and have oversight of submission to the customers data management platform
- Coordinate with ISS SME’s and key customer contacts as required to support the delivery of operational environmental compliance activities by third party providers
We need from you:
- A Sustainability Degree, or similar, experience of Sustainability within the built environment, and ideally IEMA membership
