Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our Nursing Home. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, particularly in nursing homes and residential environments. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care to residents, including those with dementia. As the Registered Manager

Skills & Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee the day to day operations of the home, ensuring a safe, supportive and high quality care environment for all residents.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care tailored to each resident's individual needs.
• Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
• Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, including CQC standards, health and safety, and safeguarding protocols.
• Engage with families and external stakeholders to promote the facility's services and maintain strong community relationships.
• Proven experience in supervising within a nursing home or residential services(elderly/dementia).
• Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to effectively manage staff and engage with residents.
• In-depth knowledge of care plans, dementia care practices, and senior care regulations.

Requirements

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent, or willingness to work towards it).
• Prior experience as Registered Manager or Deputy manager of elderly people/dementia care homes
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations, health and social care legislation and regulatory requirements
• Enthusiasm, passion and determination to achieve Outstanding and deliver the highest quality person centred care
• Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Up-to-date knowledge of the care sector, including regulatory frameworks and running a care home.
• Experience: Nursing home: 3 years (required)
• Licence/Certification: NMC (preferred)
• Location: Wellingborough NN8 (preferred)
