The Group Finance Team is a key enabler for the Group success and provide high quality analysis both internally and externally. We are a professional and judicious team; frequently exposed to highly sensitive Group data whilst delivering within Aldermore’s fast paced environment.
We are a high performing, high profile team who liaise and support at the highest level both internally and externally on all Regulatory Reporting. The role of Regulatory Reporting Manager is important to us. You will be involved in the production and review of a number of the Group’s regulatory returns, principally supporting the production of Liquidity Reporting and other returns to the PRA and PA (SARB) providing input and insight as appropriate.
This role will be based in our London office however, you will be able to work a blend of both home and office each week. You’ll be made to feel part of your new team by your Line Manager, and colleagues through regular contact and virtual interaction.
What will your day look like?
- Responsible for the end-to-end process for liquidity reporting (LCR, NSFR, PRA 110 and ALMM) including preparation, co-ordination, data review, issue clearance and procedural improvements.
- Responsible for the end-to-end process for SARB reporting (LCR, NSFR, BA200, BA300 ,BA330) including preparation, co-ordination, data review, issue clearance and procedural improvements.
- Liaise with Treasury to ensure all liquidity interpretations are implemented and up to date.
- Continue to enhance overall governance, reconciliation, and review process.
- Continue to improve manual processes to find new ways of automating and reducing risk.
- Ensuring all SOPs are up to date for most recent reporting cycle and for any changes to regulations and internal processes.
- Act as a cover for other monthly and quarterly reporting, month end tasks, as necessary.
- Assist in the Bank’s change and transformation projects where there is an impact to downstream liquidity reporting
- Train other team members to ensure appropriate cover for assigned regulatory returns.
What do we expect from you?
- You are qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- You have Regulatory Reporting experience obtained through your prior roles with specific emphasis on Liquidity reporting.
- You have a broad understanding of banking products.
- You must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- You are a driven individual, able to maintain strong focus, adapt quickly and demonstrate sound motivational qualities, both individually and as part of a team
- You act as a role model to the team, ensuring that you consistently lead by example and constantly seek opportunities to nurture and develop their career aspirations.
