JSS are partnered with a leading bank where they seeking a proactive and detail-oriented VP of Regulatory Reporting to join its Finance team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about improving data quality, driving regulatory reporting projects, and enhancing operational efficiency in a dynamic banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support regulatory reporting initiatives including COREP, FINREP, PRA, and BoE returns.
• Support the Head of Regulatory reporting with building robust controls frameworks in the reg team with a focus on data remediation.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, and Technology teams to enhance data quality and reporting processes.
• Drive automation and digitisation projects to streamline reporting workflows.
• Interpret and implement new regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, controls, and audit trails.
• Support change management and contribute to the delivery of strategic finance programmes.
• Work closely with data teams to improve data lineage, governance, and reconciliation.

Skills & Experience

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA/ CPA qualified accountant.
• Extensive experience in banking regulatory finance across controls and improvement projects.
• Strong understanding of UK and EU banking regulations and reporting frameworks.
• Experience with regulatory reporting platforms (e.g. AxiomSL, Wolters Kluwer, Moody’s).
• Demonstrated experience in project delivery, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
